Last Leaves

As years pass, is it just me that considers the changing seasons to be the most amazing miracle?  Can we really take for granted such beauty?  Is not the world worth caring for?  Yet I fight the sadness that Autumn leaves bring somehow.  The ever present reminders that actually we have not been good stewards in my lifetime alone.

A bit radical I suppose, but I pray that the oil reserves soon run out.  This would perhaps reduce world conflict, global warming and the ceaseless tide entering all parts of the natural world.  If my prayer is unacceptable both to God and man, then I can count on God for Grace as He looks at the heart.
